Supporting Utilities

BECAS is compatible with several tools for post-processing or design optimization. These tools can be interfaced with BECAS to enhance its functionality.

  • BECAS outputs can be viewed in ParaView, an open-source toolkit for data analysis and visualization.
  • BECAS v3.3 can be used within the OpenMDAO framework via the BECASWrapper.

A few legacy utilities that are not currently supported include ShellExpander, Airfoil2BECAS, and Ansys Composite PrepPost. (See more in the Legacy section)
