The BECASWrapper package provides a Python interface between BECAS and FUSED-Wind, built on OpenMDAO.
This Python module makes it easier to use BECAS for evaluating the beam properties of a blade structure based on its geometric definition in the format specified in FUSED-Wind. Additionally, this module can be used in an aerostructural blade optimization context when integrated with an aeroelastic code such as HAWC2 or OpenFAST.
